Introduction

A simple day in your household while sifting through the mail when suddenly you notice a giant yellow envelope. You look at it and realized it is addressed to you so you instantly tear it open to discover what you have always dreamed of: An invitation from National Geographic Magazine. They want you to compete against other photographers world wide to show them exactly what and where conic equations are in the real, nature-filled, world.

Task

The article begins to read, "We're looking for photographers to create a presentation on conic equations in the real world! The winner will receive a scholarship for college, and the headlining article in our magazine!" After waiting and waiting for your big break as a photographer you realize this is your chance. The description continues to read that the only requirements for participation is that you create your electronic portfolio using iMovie, publish it to the world wide web, and prove that what you have taken pictures of are in fact conic equations. After creating your presentation on conic equations in the real world, you will present in front of the magazine's executive board and hope that you are chosen by them to have the cover page!

Conclusion

Congratulations, You have won! The magazine has not only chosen you for the cover page and article, but they want to hire you to continue your work as a photographer. It must be a relief that all your hard work and motivation has finally paid off. National Geographic wants to inform you that they are willing to even pay you for their next big project dealing with the Congo River and discovering the conic sections their in the river in order to understand it better. You have a bright future ahead of you working with National Geographic.
